  huuuuummmmmm !!! I have witnessed and I continue to witness how my dauhgter's life have become different since she joined the cult.

  She would like to be married and have her own kids... but! how? there are not many prospects coming her way... she broke up her engagement to a great guy due to him not wanting to join the WT with her.

  She stopped from furthering her education in Sociology as was her previous plan.

  She looks depress and sad regardeless of her efforts to show our family otherwise.

  Her whole life has been changed! I think though that she needs guidence and structure. But when she is out like many of you, from then on, she has to live her live according to her free mind but the damage has been done. "Mis dos".

  she was not only my mother, she was my friend.

  The "barf" Bethel visit

  my jw daughter came over monday to tell me all about her visit to bethel!.

  first, she said how happy she felt and so very emotional when they took them, (a group of 8) to where the "twelve goberning body" held their meetings.

  she said: "mom, i got to see where they sit!".

  Well folks, my JW daughter left yesterday to help a congregation in Arizona. She said it is an indian reservation. Now they are after the indigens? She found out about Dateline news Tuesday by another dauhgter of mine, (not Bluesapphire). So, she hasn't call me back; I'm will pick her up from the train station Tuesday morning, May 28!!! we will see.

  I have been thinking about this thread and I now think it is not to charitable of me to write stuff about my daughter on the forum... but folks! one day I will be telling you she is out! right? things may change after the Dateline fiasco... love to all, and thanks for your responses...

  DATELINE May Be Pre-Empted or Rescheduled!

  there will be an nba playoff game on nbc at 9:00 pm est.. this means that dateline will either be pre-empted or shown at 8:00 pm est.. according to my tv guide that i received in the mail yesterday, it is scheduled to come on at 10:00 pm est.. that would mean that it will be pre-empted.. however, tvguide.com shows dateline being scheduled to air at 8:00 pm est.. that would mean that it would air as scheduled.. so, since friday's (may 24) dateline will be the last show until tuesday (sunday's is pre-empted) they should announce at the end of the show what will be coming up for tuesday the 28th.. let's keep an eye on this.. the only thing definite is that it will not air at 10:00 pm est (for all you vcr-heads) on may 28.. my apologies, of course, if someone has already addressed this.

  this was an accurate assessment on her part though i didn't acknowlege that.
